Wellies, waxed coats, scarves and leaves on the ground signifies the start of Autumn.

According to the Met Office, Autumn starts today and goes on till the 21st December. The first day of autumn refers to the astronomical autumn which is defined by the Earth’s axis and orbit around the Sun. (The Met Office)
May’s comment: During Lockdown when we had time to think about all sorts of things we never had time for, I asked Alice to create an illustration for a notecard. We had so much fun creating the visual – from selecting wardrobe, even the plants in the window boxes and oh, so important those black window frames plus my favourite railings to depict Chelsea.

When she showed me the end result, I was beyond pleased! And thought – that is so Summery! Surely we must do one for every season! LOL!
And she did another fab illustraion.

We’re excited to share our Autumn notecard by the lovely Alice of @dogsdogscatsdogs.
Check out her range of work – they can be whimsical, humourous watercolours to oh so beautiful colour pencil drawings. Yup! She does Christmas cards too!!!! 🙂
At the first sign of Autumn, out comes the wellies, waxed jacket, Autumnal colour Hindquarters leads and collars and their D&G jackets.

And in the spirit of Autumn or Fall as they say in America, sharing another of the recent funnies …
