These little Piggies …

Have a lot to say about themselves this year.

Because its the Year of the Golden Pig!

We went to Love My Human to get our little pigs with our “lai si” – which is usually red with money inside for those who are still unwed. We had treats in them – which is worth a lot more to us. Mum reminded Jenny – ahem! What about me? And Jenny said – Good try! LOL!

So we went home with two more piggies to add to our collection.

L-R: Pink piggy from MultiPet says “oink”, two golden pigs that Love My Human gave out today, Piggy Canvas from Cloud7 has a squeak, Peggy the Pig from Green & Wild’s has a crunch bottle inside, Portia Pebble – one of my first toys from Mungo & Maud and Polly the Piglet also from Mungo & Maud – slightly mauled by George!

Mum really thought she should be in the photo because she’s a little Piggy in many ways! LOL!

Never realised that the Chinese New Year seems to signal the coming of Spring!

May’s comment: It’s my year!!!

I’m a “Pig” – but unlike the West, Pigs are well-regarded in the Chinese astrology…
Personality traits of the people born under the sign of the Pig are happy, easygoing, honest, trusting, educated, sincere and brave. The possible dark sides the Pig people are stubbornness, naive, over-reliant, self-indulgent, easy to anger and materialistic. They are sometimes regarded as being lazy.
WHAT???? That last point was not what I;ve been told! LOL!

The Pig occupies the last (12th) position in the Chinese Zodiac. You are a “Pig Chinese Zodiac native” if you are born in one of these years: 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019 . (Yes, you can deduct how old I will be this year!)

According to Chinese astrology, 2019 is a great year to make money, and a good year to invest! 2019 is going to be full of joy, a year of friendship and love for all the zodiac signs; an auspicious year because the Pig attracts success in all the spheres of life. –
