We left from Paddington Station – we went to see the statue of the Unknown Soldier on Platform 1.
The train ride was uneventful and we got off at Bath Spa. Since we were here only last December, Mummy knows her way around enough to walk through the streets and not bother with a taxi. The last time we were here we had a lot of problems trying to get a taxi that would take me.
But it’s more interesting walking the streets anyway – we see all sorts of things, creatures and people. Here are some rather strange looking ones.
Then we arrived at the new Anthropologie store – it’s their store opening this weekend …
And one of the highlights is Sally Muir’s dog-on-the-spot drawing! She sketched me in 15 mins and I had to sit still for her. I wasn’t so still but searched for treats whenever there was a pause.
We paid £20 for her sketch which goes towards Bath Dogs and Cats Home.
After our drawing session, we wandered off to lunch before getting back on the train again. We found Sam’s Kitchen – which allow dogs!
There we met Sugar, another fellow pooch at Sam’s Kitchen. 
And just as we were paying and about to leave, we turned around and saw a friend of our. Sebastien used to live in our mansion block in London but now lives in Bath. Mummy couldn’t believe that of all the places and of all the times, we both ended up in the same place at that moment in time. So we sat down for a quick catch-up!
All too soon it was time to go. We walked past the old baths and had to take my picture – it was so crowded, as always.
And then it was time for our journey back.
