There’s a sweet Paw Challenge on Instagram – where two hands touch and the dog then puts its paws on top of them. It is sweet, it shows interaction between human and pets.
We really wanted to do it too but as a single dog mum, just couldn’t figure out how to do it, until Michelle and Bailey showed us how.
It should be easy-peasy for George though it is a bit different from just asking him to “paw” as I would be behind him. And he did it in one go! He is after all an Expert Trick Dog! LOL!
What about Lulu?
Of course I could have just done the challenge with George and be done with. But I couldn’t leave Lulu out of this. I have not bothered to teach her any tricks. Too old? Ran out of patience? Why bother? Well, I wondered how she would do.
So on a day when I stayed in waiting for British Gas to turn up for an appointment between 10am-6pm, I decided to teach Lulu how to paw. It took awhile till she finally lifted her paw to command. But then she had to do that with me behind her. Well, you know what they say about poodles – clever little things! She did learn it pretty fast, and along with it her diet!
