Yup! you’ve read it correctly. We met a pirate and a parrot.
I was more intrigued by Lottie, the parrot than Pete, the pirate to be honest.
It wasn’t just any parrot, because Lottie drinks wine!!!!
I was curious 
but not as curious as Zebedee, 
His over eagerness and extreme focus on Lottie
had him locked out! LOL!
And it was not very nice to have a bird door decal to tease him! LOL!
But for the birthday boy, he could not believe that with all the surprises he already had for the day, along came a parrot … 
And a pirate! He did not believe us – because Pete the Pirate did not have an eye-patch, but he does have an article leg. But he didn’t have his peg-leg on that day!
May’s comment: Pete the Pirate is also Pete the Pond! He is only “pirate” by appearance.
