Welcome to my boudoir, Mr. B

We arrived at The Mandrake Hotel in Fitzrovia, entering a dimly lit tunnel – at the end of which was this colourful piece of art.We had a lunch reservation at the restaurant Serge et le PhoqueAnd was told our table is on the terrace – as it was a beautiful summer’s day and lunch was being served there.  We took this funky elevator to the second floor …And exited the elevator to a plant-filled terrace.

B, shall we sit here? Or is it too much in the sun?  It maybe too hot for us.Or should we have this long table in the shade all to ourselves? Much better, isn’t it?They served us filtered water in a rather original tire dog bowl! And the hoomans had paella! That’s a lot of food! After a long lunch, it was time to leave this little oasis in Fotzrovia – but the hoomans needed to a little relief. As we made our way to the ladies we came across this funky wall …And then, ahhhh, this looks comfy, doesn’t it, B? And Mummy thought the washrooms were super fun – and we posed for pictures in there!

May’s comment: The Mandrake Hotel in Fitzrovia is dog-friendly.  We’ve heard about their Michelin-starred French restaurant Serge et le Phoque in Hong Kong. The have opened their new restaurant in London which is more European Asian fusion – “highly sophisticated but not complicated.”  It was a lovely summer day and we sat on the terrace but confirmed that dogs are also allowed inside the restaurant during lunch time. Located at 20 – 21 Newman Street, London W1T 1PG

Yes, go to the washrooms – quite different! Love it!
