Today is the 1st of September.
It is the 244th day of the year and 121 days remain until the end of the year (Wikipedia) – the last third of the year. But come September also means summer’s over, school’s back – to whatever extent and the cooler weather arrives.
The last couple of weeks have seen such fluctuation of weather conditions.

And we just had the last Bank Holiday this summer … till Christmas.
Where did the year go, when we didn’t go anywhere? It zoomed by so fast!

Ah, the Lockdown has brought a whole new meaning to the word ZOOM!
May’s comment: Like everything else, it was a wash out year. We scrapped all our travel plans, birthdays were low key events and we stuck around – watching record number of telly series, setting goals and challenges for ourselves during lockdown and restriction in travel. It has been a very productive six months – due to non-travel.
We sure did a lot of online shopping – LOL! Been looking for something to finish off the hallway when we found this lovely French Basket online. It’s for towels to wipe wet paws, extendable lead and other leads and collars that don’t have a place on the hooks. LOL!

I had bought another for our summer in the south of France …

But instead, we used it for a picnic in Hyde Park.

No worries. There will be more summers in the years to come. Till then we have other uses for it.

Bring on Autumn … it’ll take us closer to the end of 2020.

What a nice and purposeful basket! I am sure you had a lovely time on your picnic! I went to Hindquarters and checked out all of their collars and leashes! I like the plum colors!
