We arrived at Stratford-Upon-Avon today to check out Shakespeare birth place and to reunite with my brother Milo.
We stayed at The White Swan – where parts of the building has been dated back to c. 1450.
There are two dogs guarding the reception – so of course I needed to pose with them

The original owner, Robert Perrott’s granddaughter married Richard Tyler who was one of William Shakespeare’s boyhood friends. So it is quite likely that Shakespeare and the couple frequented this inn. Maybe sitting near the original bar.
There is a 16th Century mural that is still visible in The Oak Room.
We, as in me, was not allowed in the restaurant but we could eat in the bar.
So here we are again – same pose – different food.
We were in room 306 – outside of each room is a quote.
