May’s comment: The last time Germany won the World Cup in 1990 I was living in Dusseldorf. I watched at Ulli and Manuela’s along with one other guy – but can’t remember who he was. But he drove me home after the game and remember driving through Dusseldorf in a top-down Porsche, honking at everyone shouting “Wir sind Weltmeister!”
