Wormcount

Mummy’s going to be a bit busy when I get home – no, she won’t be counting worms but she’ll be collecting my stool samples!

I don’t think she’s actually looking forward to doing that – especially the sample for lungworms is to be collected over three days! Smelly poo!!!

I guess this is love. 🙂

May’s comment: I had learnt from other dog owners that a faecal worm count is a necessary weapon in the fight to control parasites. And wormcount.com, an independent UK based laboratory has been providing the service of investigating internal parasites for more than 15 years.

They test for well over 100 different parasites and have expertise in the fields of more than just dogs and cats – but all sorts of companion pets!

It’s that dreaded lungworm that I want to avoid and just to err on the careful side.  So I got a kit from Wormcount and do the unglamorous task of collecting Darcy’s poo sample on the streets of London!

Anyway, trying to complement the alternative way with Billy No Mates and Verm-X instead of the usual chemical stuff.
