As another year draws to a close, I find myself thinking less about where the time has gone and more about who I’ve shared it with.
The days slip by — some quietly, some in a rush — yet what lingers are the people who filled them: the laughter, the kindness, the steady presence that anchors us through it all.
My New Year wish is simple — that we hold close the ones who make our days feel full, that we keep tending to the bonds that grow deeper with time, and that we remember love — in all its small, ordinary moments — is what truly lasts.
Here’s to another year of shared stories, familiar faces, and the quiet joy of knowing we don’t walk through time alone. ✨

We took this Abbey Road photo this summer. Since then, Sasha has grown some more and is now taller than me. Andrew of Raven Imagery captured this moment and photoshopped in Darcy to complete the picture.
I looked back at the photo taken ten summers ago by Dasha Hugg. Sasha was five, walking with George and me with Darcy. Thinking ten years ahead – let’s not go there. Just enjoy who we have with us today.
