The Global Dog Club You Didn’t Know You Needed
These Twixmas days always seem in limbo. And after all the festivities and before the next big one, we find ourselves wondering what day it is and what we should do. If you have a dog, you’re bound to get out for walks and inevitably stop to speak with another person with a dog. But here’s something from a friend of ours who set up an App for dog owners to meet each other anywhere in the world.
We’ve known Rusty and his mum, Martine, for years, since the early Darcy days. They’ve been part of every birthday, every Bark Mitzvah, every muddy park walk and quiet coffee catch-up. When Rusty invited us to serve as Ambassadors for his new community, Meet My Paws, we said yes.
Meet My Paws is a free platform for dog lovers to connect for friendship, walks, support, even travel buddies or romance. It’s fully inclusive, open to humans aged 18 to 80+, any dog breed, and any country.
You can search by breed, area, dog name or human name (which is helpful if you meet someone in the park and forget to ask for details!).
Martine’s built this with heart, humour, and a whole lot of Rusty’s approval and the mobile app is coming soon too.
It’s not a marketplace. It’s not a dating app. It’s a way to feel less alone and help our dogs do the same.
