Now that explains how Georgie when squirrelling always knew Mummy was coming after him – he has 250 degree vision.

I heard on a TV programme about dogs that they see only yellow and blue and that therefore most of what they see in colour comes out green or brown. this is why if you throw a ball on the grass that is, for example, red, they see it as green and quite hard to distinguish from the grass. this is why they rely very much on their sense of small and motion when playing in the grass ….. This is certainly true of my dog who often doesn’t see the ball which is just behind him until he can small it …..
