Tonight we watched a football match on telly – a friendly match between England and France.
It was only four nights ago when France was playing a friendly match against Germany – when terror struck in the heart of Paris.
But tonight at Wembley stadium, many defied the fear that should have kept them away.
This is not just a football game. It’s to say – we must go on.
We had been to lay flowers at the French Embassy –
like the hundreds who did the same.
There must be some doggies in Paris who wondered why their owners have not returned home. 🙁
May’s comment: In death you have found freedom from the world of insane hatred that took your lives. In leaving you have left voids in the lives of many. May we always turn to love to fill that emptiness.
