24H in Paris

IMG_1020

Are we there yet?Marley and I were in the car as Yaena’s driving us across in the Eurotunnel!Strange to be leaving the country without Mum, but I know where we’re going and it’ll be fun.

When we got to Calais, we got on a train to Paris!  The train journey didn’t;t take a long time and before long we arrived at our hotel – one that I have not stayed in with Mum.So Mum, here’s another dog-friendly hotel to add to your list!  Its Hotel Vernet in the 8th arrondissement – walking distance to the Bois de BoulogneIsn’t it lovely being able to walk through this in the heart of Paris.  This is the only park in Paris that allow us to be off the lead … don’t tell anyone that the last time we were at the garden behind The Louvre, I was off the lead – along with some others. 😉

After a good night sleep in the hotel, the next morning, we had another long walk back at the Bois de Boulogne –Yaena wanted to make sure we had a long walk before we got on the next train – to St. Tropez.Yup, Marley! I remember this journey from our trip to see you in July. It was looooong alright!

And even though Marley is smaller – but I also sometimes get to sit on Yaena’s lap – this is my view.Soooooon we will arrive in St. Tropez when my proper holiday starts then. Will let you know how we get on!

May’s comment: So they’re finally on their way after a stay over in Paris. Can’t wait to see all the pics of them playing and rolling in the sand. I hope Marley and Darcy will be chasing each other along the beach.

As for George – Look at this!!!

George up to his old antics, trying to get this other dog to play!!! Warms my heart to see George interacting with other doggies at House of Mutt. Love that little guy!!!
