We were up early this morning to make our way to Euston Station. Er, excuse me, we’re trying to take a photo of me at the station for the blog …
That’s better.
So we left London for Tamworth on the slow train – it was not just only a two-hour train ride but there were earlier signal problems on the tracks so we were delayed almost all the way. The hope to make up time ended up with us being 20 minutes delayed. So we missed our connecting train to Chesterfield.
We got off at Tamworth but the connection to Chesterfield was two hours later so we took a train to Derby and then another train before we arrived in Chesterfield – altogether a four and a half journey. Mummy said if we went the other direction, (if we’re allowed on Eurostar, of course) we could be in Paris already!
So it was a bit of a boring trip for me. This is me – not even wanting to look out of the window any more.
Just bored!
But once we arrived at Chesterfield, we drove through country roads and guess what I got to do!
WHEEEEEE! My favourite thing to do in a car.
Notice Mummy holding onto me tightly – she’s so nervous that I would jump out the window! Hmmmm. I haven’t even thought of it. 😉

Dear Darcy,
I throughly enjoy reading your blog and seeing all of the great adventures you have with your mummy. I was wondering if you could let me know where you have your hair done. We are in desperate need of a good groomer for me, following many disasters, my mummy is at her wits end. I’m currently sporting a very uneven short coat so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much
Arthur the cockapoo (and his mummy)
Hi Arthur, where do you live? We will email you. x
