Tuscany in London

IMG_1469

Just a short drive from West London is a little piece of Italy at Villa di Geggiano.

As the sun flitted through the Sangiovese vine leaves, we were transported to Tuscany.

It was a special treat for Sasha before leaving to go back to boarding school (meals).

Dining in The Terrace

Grazie mille Villa di Geggiano per una giornata deliziosa! (Many thanks Villa di Geggiano for a ‘delicious’ day!)

May’s comment: Catching the last days of Summer as we dined al fresco under the vine covered terrace at Villa di Geggiano.

And I loved the interiors – so much to look at. Beautifully curated indoor space by Ilona Pacia, art patron and a keen collector can be seen everywhere. From the cosy lounge …

to the dining rooms

to the exquisite business suite – they were a feast for the eyes!

Le Dolce Vita reigns! Along with the good food, the Tuscan ambiance – they love dogs of all sizes!

The restaurant is in Chiswick named after Villa di Geggiano has been the family home and winery of the Bianchi Bandinelli family since 1527. Just six kilometres north-east of Siena, its façade looks out onto the enchanting hills of Chianti Classico, a region of Italy world famous for its wines, natural beauty and rich history.

Originally built in the 14th century, the Villa di Geggiano, its gardens and 18th-century decorations have been carefully renovated and restored. The Bandinelli family continue to manage the Villa and the precious surrounding vineyards, recently opening two luxury guest suites for holiday visitors wanting to savour the real Tuscan lifestyle.

Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, under the auspices of the Bianchi Bandinelli family, been renowned for superb hospitality and generosity. As well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. Villa di Geggiano in London brings a corner of Tuscany right to the heart of W4. 66-68 Chiswick High Rd., Chiswick, London W4 1SY
