A Sleepless Night

IMG_5520 (1)

My tummy had not settled till late last night. Every time I felt my tummy rumbling, I go off to the bathroom and that’s when Mummy would scurry to take me outside.IMG_5501Fortunately my last emergency run was around midnight and then we settled into bed.

Mummy kept my collar on because if I jumped out of bed, she would be able to hear the little jingle my tags would make.IMG_5507 None of us slept well last night even though these are photos of us asleep, curled up next to Mummy.IMG_5511This morning I had no poo because I had nothing left in my stomach.

And I didn’t understand why George got to go with the dog walker and I didn’t 🙁

May’s comment: Well, it was a sleepless night. Unlike the night before, I was highly tuned in to their every movement. We had our last emergency run out the door at midnight – by then Darcy must had emptied her entire bowel was my guess. I still went to bed clothed – just incase we needed But she was still unsettled. She woke up a few times in the night and went round in circles on the bed trying to find a place that made her feel better.IMG_5512Another time she was making funny sounds which made me wonder if she was about to get sick.

She eventually settled down with her bum next to my face – a smelly one for that matter!!!!!
IMG_5518George was woken up each time Darcy moved and then he too was looking for a place to sleep and he came and plonked himself down right next to me – which is still tender. And then he too went into a lip licking session – which he does before he would get sick. I picked him up and took him to the bathroom – but that wasn’t the case. So back he ran into the bedroom –IMG_5506As I was keeping an eye on them, last night was the first time in two months I slept on my side and then I ended up having indigestion!!!! Think my organs were confused what was happening to them.

And this what I woke up to – George sitting on my stomach looking at me.  He has been the biggest threat to my healing wounds – always manage to step on them even when he’s sitting on my lap, or he decides to sit on me when lying in bed and when I am carrying him, he would inevitably kick me where it hurts. IMG_5515
