As recommended by Petit, the Pom

IMG_4099

Petit is a Pom that now lives in Tokyo but he was once upon a time a Londoner. He reads our blogs and he told us of a few places that we can add to our Wine and Dine List!

One of his recommendations was The Black Dog. You figured a name like that, they would be dog friendly – and they were. It a local pub in Vauxhall – I don’t think we’ve ever been there before. So off to lunch we went.Ready to order …What do we think of this roast? How did it compare?

And Petit also recommended that we go to the Tea House Theatre across the street form The Black Doga quaint little place that had the right attitude. And LOTS of cake!Look what I found, Mummy!Just your kind of place, isn’t it Mummy? And there were two more on his list – Cacio n Pepe  and Osteria dell’Angolo – two more dog friendly Italians.  Cacio e Pepe’s a small restaurant and dogs are only allowed upstairs – where there’s a table for two or you can sit at the bar. There’s also outside seating.

More to add to our growing list. If you have any suggestions of restaurants, gastro pubs and patisseries/cafes in London – do let us know.

May’s comment: One of our blog readers who used to live in London and have since moved back to Tokyo gave us a few tips of dog friendly restaurants near where they used to live that are not on our Wine and Dine list.

They now live in Tokyo and missing all the dog friendly restaurants in London. But they do have a recommendation in case you’re in Tokyo and desperate to dine with your pooch! – Manson de la Bourgogne in Tokyo.

Thank you Takeshi for your tips, oh, I mean, thank you Petit.
