Bet you can’t tell where we were!

Yes, we were at Paddington Station yesterday morning. It was some day!  Mummy said something about the stars not aligning.

So the day began with all of us getting up an hour too early because Mummy timed it wrong.  We did get to the station with plenty of time to spare – and since George was not with us the last time we saw Paddington between Platform 8 and 9. IMG_9863 We didn’t see this the last time but we came across the Paddington Book BenchIMG_9867 As well as this statue by Marcus CornishIMG_9872That was fine but then we started to get the sense that things were not going as planned … train delays, missed train connections and then a long cab ride from Swindon to Kemble to meet Sarah and Charlie.IMG_9899Well that wasn’t the end of our adventures … more later!

May’s comment: The trains were a bit of a disaster yesterday.  Apparently signals were down as we crawled our way to Reading and by the time we arrived at Swindon – there were no connections. By hook or by crook, we made our way to Kemble.
