5 Poos and 1 Mutt are together again! This time Belinda and Freddie invited us to Angmering-on-Sea –
It was all about walkies on the beach
and playing on the beach …

We watched sunsets together
And in the evenings, we all just hung out. The hoomans sat and talked, and watched telly while we got lots of hugs.
The next day, our entourage, all four two-legged and six four-legged descended into Chichester, a cathedral city and civil parish in West Sussex. Note the hooman’s Walkies sweatshirts! LOL!
We stopped for lunch at The Barn, Little London – a lifestyle venue which celebrates Slow Food, Community and Wellness.
There are all these cosy cabins named after ski resorts. We sat in Aspen.
Along the streets of Little London are a whole bunch of interesting shops …
We also visited this very sweet little doggy store, The Dog Spot at Drapers Yard. The dog friendly, relaxed courtyard and fab coffee is a great hidden gem in the heart of Chichester!
The lovely lady had lots of treats for us doggies!
When in Chichester, one must visit Chichester Cathedral, which features fine architecture in both the Norman and the Gothic styles.
It was founded as a cathedral in 1075 and is the Anglican seat of the Bishop of Chichester.
Before the 40 minute drive back to Angmering, we had a quick run around in the park and the hoomans decided to play hide-n-seek with us …
Back at Angmering-on-Sea, more walkies on the greens along the coast …
We walked and played –
On parts of the pebbly beach, we came across a series of intriguing rock installations …
The “Anonymous” artist who had created all these interesting art displays on the pebbly beach was there –
He comes every day to the beach take care of his art creations – after someone had accidentally stepped on them and knocked something over, or if the tide had moved them, he puts back the rocks that have been moved. He began his art creations this during the lockdown and now they are part of the beach walk finds. We felt honoured to have seen his creations.
As we made our way back to the house, tired from our long walks and playing with each other …
We reflected on the lovely time we’ve had. Being together is the best kind of feeling, especially after what had been a difficult time for everyone. We have learnt not to take these times of togetherness for granted.
May’s comment: Friends met because of our cockapoos through social media and cupcakes! LOL! Over the years we had celebrated each other’s birthdays – four legged and two legged, and met for lots of walkies.
Two years ago, the five poos and one mutt plus humans took a group trip to Chatsworth. We had so much fun and we were all ready for another get together in March 2020 when the pandemic lockdown took over.
So how happy were we when we could do it again – almost two years later.
