Two moons have waned since my arrival in the capital city of London, and the embrace I received has left an indelible mark upon my heart. I have been showered with affectionate cuddles and many have ensured my seamless transition into this new chapter of my life.

Because I am small, Mum really wanted me to have a harness, but just not any harness. After wearing some hand-me-downs, Mum finally got me my own Wondercoat harness – and what a harness it is!
This is a bespoke product from Wondercoat Atelier. It is quite the rave.
And I even got invited to strut my Wondercoat harness at Love My Human’s Strutz.
Though I was too late to be chosen for the calendar in support of Harbin Slaughterhouse Survivors, I tried on a few of the hats and photographed by Lucy of @YouandTheDog. This way I could do my part for the next stage of their fund raising.
Aren’t they fab? Mum has her eye on a couple of them. And you can bid for them @sha_auction from the 21-29 September.
Of course, Andrew of Raven Imagery took some of the earliest photos of me soon after I had arrived. And Elena of Pawtiqe gifted us some photos form her session at The Big Woof. These pics were from the first week after my arrival – as you can see my legs were still shaved from all the blood works they had to do before I was allowed to come to England.
Sacha of Le Wag made sure I was photo ready for all the photoshoots! And I looked like a Chelsea girl after she was done.
A dog’s life is not complete without treats. James & Ella sent us their range of irresistible air-dried dog treats – Chicken, Venison and White Fish. Deliciously healthy and handmade in my new country, these treats are perfect for me as they are soft. I am missing quite a few teeth so hard treats are difficult for me.
And Honey’s Real Dog Food wanted to make sure I started off on the right foot, or paw. I have taken to it really well. Mum talks about my solid poos and great appetite for more. And she said that my hair which was once coarse is so much softer.
And Sophie heard about our gallery wall and made sure I had another portrait to add to our art gallery! Thank you for my Quick and Quirky portrait!!!
It is hard to believe that less than two years ago, I lived a life of fear, uncertainty and possibly an early death. I was saved by Harbin Slaughterhouse Survivors and if not for them, I would never have found my way home.
Now I am safe and loved and I am so blessed. To all of you who welcomed me so warmly, your benevolence and thoughtfulness have rendered me complete.
May’s comment: All the important things for a dog – her own bed, a toy to play with, treats galore, good food, well-dressed and warm! And then all the photos to remember by.
