Last Sunday was Pet Blessing Day in the Philippines – a mass for the animals.This event in the Philippines is held annually close to the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (4th October). But they looked like they were being splashed with Holy Water!
I had a blessing a few weeks ago when at a church in St. Ives – a nice hand laid on my head during mass.

Yes, we had pet blessing events city wide. I saw many churches also promoting their pet blessing events.
GUess we didn’t have it in London … we would have been there for sure.
Yes we too have Pet Blessings here in Aussie land.
