The first time I had a cold and kept sneezing, I went Choo! Choo! Mummy was aghast that I had taken on a bad habit, as in humans clearing their noses. She kept telling me to stop doing that! I was confused.
It was only when I sneezed in front of another person, who sympathetically asked if I was feeling cold, then Mummy caught on that I was actually sneezing.
May’s comment: Dogs sneeze without the “ah” as in ah-choo! How was I to know that?
The sniffer is an amazing part of the pooch. Someone told me that when they walk the streets, their sniffing at other dog’s faeces and pee is like us reading the papers every morning to find out what had happened.
