“Imagine a world where you can shop your heart out, leave with nothing, and feel great about it.”

We were walking around Carnaby Street today – so many things to look at.

Look at all those Christmas decorations!

We’re in So Ho Ho Ho! LOL!
We saw this sign but didn’t know what it was all about.

Walked on to find Le Lobo – Mum had to get her body lotion!

We finally got her Le Labo’s Santal 33 – since I couldn’t get her a Red Chanel Nr. 5
And we had a good laugh when we saw Ugly Dumplings – a restaurant that serves dumplings of every sort. Well, at least I thought the name was funny.

We wandered down the road and saw this …

And found out this was a pop-up shop – “where you can buy real gifts for refugees, contained practical items like tents, nappies and sleeping bags. You leave the shop with nothing because they go to someone who truly needs it. The Choose Love stores was created by Help Refugees in partnership with creative collective, Glimpse.”

Looks like we bought some t-shirts for the kiddies!

May’s comment: What a lovely concept. Found the pop-up store quite by accident. It opened on Black Friday and will stay open until Christmas Eve. The London store is at 30-32 Fouberts Place, Carnaby Street, London, W1F 7PS.

There is also a store in NYC –  456 West Broadway, Soho, New York
NY 10012
