It’s Christmas Eve and we are off to dinner at Stanley’s –
Of course we were wearing our Christmas jumpers.
After a flurry of greetings, Annie thought it might be a good idea for us to go for a walk in Bishop’s Park – to release some of that excitement about Santa coming
Thankfully, the rain had just stopped before we arrived.
And so we ran, and we hopped around amongst the manicured bushes
It might not be raining, but Mummy wasn’t so pleased with my muddy paws.
Before long, the sun was setting
And we went back to their home for mulled wine and mince pies. There were even some mince pies for us pooches.
Whenever Andrew gave George a hug
Stanley was a little concerned
He was wondering what had happened to his world!
We were having a good play when the hoomans announced that they were going out and we had to stay home
They went to church for a carol service.
They did come home eventually and gave us our supper
But then the hoomans had an even more delicious supper than we did
And because it’s Christmas, they gave us each a slice of their delicious Beef Wellington
Before we left, Stanley wanted to show us their bulging stockings
I particularly liked Stanley’s
And look at all those pressies under the tree!!!
What happens next, Mummy?
May’s comment: Christmas Eve with Annie, Andrew and Stanley at their lovely home.
We went to a candlelight carol service at All Saints Church.
They had a Nativity Play and we sang all those lovely carols. And then a delicious dinner at home. It’s Christmas morning by the time you read this … we hope you had a blessed holy night.
