Twas the night before Christmas

It’s Christmas Eve and we are off to dinner at Stanley’s –IMG_8863Of course we were wearing our Christmas jumpers.

STANLEY!
IMG_8866We have arrived!

After a flurry of greetings, Annie thought it might be a good idea for us to go for a walk in Bishop’s Park – to release some of that excitement about Santa coming
IMG_8876Thankfully, the rain had just stopped before we arrived.

And so we ran, and we hopped around amongst the manicured bushesIMG_8880It might not be raining, but Mummy wasn’t so pleased with my muddy paws.IMG_8879 Before long, the sun was settingIMG_8871And we went back to their home for mulled wine and mince pies.  There were even some mince pies for us pooches.IMG_8883Whenever Andrew gave George a hug
IMG_8894Stanley was a little concerned

IMG_8901He was wondering what had happened to his world!IMG_8899 We were having a good play when the hoomans announced  that they were going out and we had to stay homeIMG_8884They went to church for a carol service.

They did come home eventually and gave us our supper
IMG_8891 But then the hoomans had an even more delicious supper than we didIMG_8907And because it’s Christmas, they gave us each a slice of their delicious Beef WellingtonIMG_8923Before we left, Stanley wanted to show us their bulging stockingsIMG_8915 I particularly liked Stanley’sIMG_8918And look at all those pressies under the tree!!!
IMG_8904What happens next, Mummy?

May’s comment: Christmas Eve with Annie, Andrew and Stanley at their lovely home. IMG_8886We went to a candlelight carol service at All Saints Church.IMG_8889They had a Nativity Play and we sang all those lovely carols. And then a delicious dinner at home. It’s Christmas morning by the time you read this … we hope you had a  blessed holy night.
