Completely spoiled – and loving it!

Valentina (from Switzerland) and Simren came to see us and suggested we all go out for supper together. We happily we obliged.  So off we go to our neighbourhood Maze Grill, a Gordon Ramsay restaurant – one of two that welcome dogs.

And the evening gets better. Usually, when we go along to dinners, we sit and hope something will be handed down to us. This is my usual “hopeful” position, sitting under the table, head usually on Mummy’s napkin.IMG_2695But amazing, wonderful, our newest best friend Valentina (who has a well-loved labradoodle called Jack) ordered us a steak! Yes, she truly did because she said the doggies have to eat!  Besides she’s vegetarian so there’s no way she was going to eat that slab of medium rare filet steak!IMG_2689 And she cut it up into small pieces for George and I.IMG_2693I await eagerlyIMG_2692And Mummy, what are you having? Sushi? Enjoy. I’ll go and have my medium rare steak. Thank you!IMG_2690May’s comment: I am definitely not a crazy dog lady compared to some of my friends! Valentina and her whole family is dog-centric. Their labradoodle, Jack rules! We are looking forward to meeting Jack when he comes to visit in July.  Right now he’s busy enjoying the snow in Switzerland.

At one of the two Maze Grill, a Gordon Ramsay Group restaurant that allow dogs in. And they are definitely dog welcoming. They bring water for the dogs and they are allowed to sit on the banquette.

The two dog-friendly Maze Grills are:

  • 11 Park Walk, London SW10 0AJ
  • 79 Royal Hospital Rd, London SW3 4AN
