No, we don’t mean crumpets and Jaffa cakes – they’re our friends – Crumpet the “Bend it like Beckham” labradoodle and our sweet neighbour Jaffa. We finally got together with Crumpet and his mummy at Zefi.
George was off on his playdate with his hooman friend Victoria but Jaffa came with us to lunch. So we had a Doddles luncheon.
We arrived at Zefi and waited for Crumpet and his mummy to arrive.
I wanted to sit on the banquette with Mummy. And Jaffa laid down on the floor quietly.
So this is Crumpet and his mummy, Alexandra – they come to our doodles meet and live not so far away from us
So there we all sat – Crumpet, Jaffa under the table
And me sitting high up on the banquette
But that Crumpet –
he was feeling very at home
Really?
Oh my goodness me, Mummy! This is supposed to be an organic, healthy eating place. What on earth?!?!?!
Well, I guess this makes it another of Mummy’s favourite now.
May’s comment: At Zefi’s at 103 Walton Street, London – which was once Jak’s. Due probably to it’s location, the crowd is international and diverse. It’s a good place for a leisurely lunch, serves good, healthy food.

It’s good that you get so many dog friendly places in London, nice get together of doggies and their mommy!
