Dinner with drinks

IMG_0482-1536x2048

Don’t you worry about my shaggy chic look. I can still see and smell all foods.

P.s. The top knot or as someone called it the pineapple top came off within two days.

But can I tell you about our new dinnerware?

Mum wanted our bowls to fit the new black kitchen in our flat. When she saw the Oonalfie hand-thrown stoneware dog bowls with a beautiful matt black glaze finish and 22ct luxe gold rim detail – she knew immediately they were perfect!

Mum then commissioned Oonalfie to make us a matching spaniel water bowl to complete the set.

This way my ears don’t dip in the water!

See!

Voila! Only my beard gets wet!

But that is not the end of the story of our new dinner ware.

Mum was jealous of our beautiful bowls, she decided to get herself one too.

Well, you know what they say –

The family that eats together stays together?

May’s comment: Fits so perfectly into the ‘supper drawer’

And I have a mug too! Next on order – a plate or plates for scones or cupcakes – for that tea time treat.

Pieces are individually hand made by acclaimed potter, Emma Alington Ceramics

Yes, they were designed as dog bowls but who said we cannot use them for ourselves?

I used their dog bowl before I gave it to them for Christmas LOL!
