Dins Dins @Selfridges

It was so good we went twice!

Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant chain specialising in Chinese cuisine, particularly famous for its xiaolongbao. I first discovered it by accident when in Shanghai. The next time I was in Taipei, it was on my must-go destination.

They finally opened in London in December 2018 in Henrietta Street but they are not dog-friendly – not until they opened in Selfridges.

I had to check it out and what better time to do so than at Lunar New Year! And we were not disappointed.

We celebrated the Lunar New Year with Charlotte and Felicia – Ladies Who Lunch Date.

And it was so good, we went back again, this time with Martine and Rusty.

I don’t usually shop at Selfridges but because of Din Tai Fung, I have now made it a shopping destination.

Din Tai Fung is located on the 4th floor of Selfridges. Guests are greeted by our signature kitchen set behind a giant glass window, allowing onlookers to watch in awe as our chefs create the perfect Xiao Long Bao.

It is better to reserve your table but walk-ins are also available.

And look out for robots traversing the restaurant transporting food to the various tables as well as on collecting empty plates.
