Our turn to help a human friend

s3

Sometimes we’ve told stories about other doggies – needing our help – even if it was just asking for positive healing thoughts or prayers. But our stories are not limited to doggies.  We don’t forget our human friends – humans for whom we are grateful for our wellbeing.

Several months ago we shared Seymour’s human’s wedding photo on our post – Happily Ever After.

We’ve been very worried to hear that Seymour’s Mummy who has blood cancer had another relapse. It’s because Tania is of such a mixed ethnic background, it has been extremely difficult in finding a match.

Tania is of Filipino/Arab/Indonesian heritage, so any matching donors may not necessarily live in the UK.  Her only sister is not a match, but we know there’ a donor out there somewhere.

We would encourage everyone who can register with the Anthony Nolan Register, whatever their ethnic background, to give Tania a chance. But even if you can’t help Tania, you could save somebody else’s life.

So as we always do, send positive healing love but also just do it.

Please help make Seymour very happy to have his Mummy home for Christmas.

May’s comment:  We know Seymour and his family from our Hyde Park Cockapoo meets and have had happy times with them at walks and at Gaucho’s.  So they are “family” – regardless, we want to be able to help.

So if you are of any Asian descent and under the age of 50, please consider this plea.

The test is very simple, it’s just a blood test or in some cases a sample of saliva. To donate is easy too. It’s just a blood donation after a few days of medication to stimulate your bone marrow. So none of this bone drilling etc that you hear of.
