One of the “tricks” Mummy taught me is to do what she calls the “downward dog”.
Apparently after I drink water from my bowl, I leave a trail of small puddles of water all over the place. So she decided to teach me how to wipe my beard after drinking.
Whenever I have a drink of water, she hears me slurping away and rushes over to my side. When I am done, she tells me to go down on the floor and put my chin on the towel. I am not sure I understand why but I know she wants me to.
When I am on my own, most of the time I forget to do that. But when I remember, I would wait for her to come and tell me to go “DOWN!”
And then I wait for my treat! Or I get told I’m good girl – personally, I’d rather have the treats.
