If you’re a fan of Duck & Rice in Soho — as we absolutely are — the arrival of its second outpost at Battersea Power Station, at what is arguably London’s most dog-friendly shopping centre, was just the best news.
Duck & Rice at Battersea Power Station

All told, Duck & Rice at Battersea Power Station feels like a thoughtful expansion of a beloved concept. It brings the familiar vibes and flavours we’ve loved at Berwick Street, but now in a new locale with added space and ambition — and still keeping its dog-friendly heart.
We’ve always loved Duck & Rice in Soho’s Berwick Street — a unique mix of Cantonese cooking and British pub charm. Now, a second outpost has landed at Battersea Power Station, much closer to home. Even better, it’s inside London’s most dog-friendly shopping centre.
The new space is stylish yet relaxed, with an open kitchen, lively bar, and even a dedicated dog-seating area. It feels buzzy but comfortable — precisely the place you’ll want to visit again and again.

And we did with Jenny and Belle.

Of course, the star of the menu is the house special: the Duck & Rice. Crispy Cantonese roast duck, succulent meat, and fluffy jasmine rice — simple, comforting, and completely essential.

Add a few classic dim sum offerings (such as shumai and prawn wontons) alongside small chow and wok dishes like Kung Po chicken, sweet and sour pork, crispy duck fried rice, etc.

For us, it’s the best of both worlds: the flavours we’ve long loved in Soho, now set against the iconic backdrop of Battersea — and with the dogs happily by our side.
