Afraid no more of Bearded Man

IMG_0129

I used to be afraid of Santa.  But I think I have managed my fears. I didn’t bark at him yesterday when we went to Santa’s Grotto at Duke of York Square. IMG_0131We had to stand in the queue with all the other kiddies. But because we are doggies, we were asked if we would like to go in ahead of all the others! Whoopeee!IMG_0127We had our photos taken but didn’t take any of the gift bags because it had chocolates in there – I know Mummy wished she had taken it instead.

Anyway, last year when we went to see him at Harrod’s Christmas Grotto – I growled at him. This year when he first came to the Duke of York Square, I had a barking fit!  Then last weekend I saw him again – I was a little nervous.  He’s making a lot of appearances lately – is he promoting something?

But today – I was not afraid of him.

George of course, he would go to anyone who wants to give him a hug.

Even Mummy had to get in the act! Poor Santa’s knee – maybe he’ll need knee surgery like you, Mummy! 🙂unnamed-19May’s comment: Hey! It was Santa who asked/insisted me to sit on his lap!!!!

Harrod’s Grotto said dogs are not allowed now that there’s no more Pet Kingdom – so we’re delighted that there’s a Santa’s Grotto at Duke of York Square.
