As the weather changes, out comes the jumpers. After months of being stowed away in the drawer, we have pulled them out again.
Those favourite jumpers are like old friendships you put away sometimes as you experiment with different styles. Be them, cities, careers or people.
And the best ones, when you fall upon them months, years or even decades later, are right there waiting. Still full of all the comfort as when you left them, ready to be enjoyed and cherished once more.
As if Sex in the City taught us one thing, it’s that true friendships never go out of style.
Who is your old jumper? Maybe it’s about time to try them back on.

Just as an old friend brings a sense of warmth and familiarity, an old sweater wraps us in the comfort of moments past, each stitch holding a story. They may be a little worn, but that only makes them feel more cherished, reminding us of the places we’ve been and the people we’ve shared them with.

This past year had been full of meeting up with old friends – whether I revisited them in nearby Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Paris or further away in Miami, Singapore, etc, etc. The meet-ups have been like it was yesteryear and we have picked up from where we left off. I left each one, feeling blessed and lucky to have them in my life. And it had made me realise that these old friends are like old sweaters—comfortable, reliable, and filled with memories.
