Meet George & Me at The Ampersand Hotel

IMG_3065

Barney & Nellie’s mummy, Emma was coming to London for a long overdue meet-up! As she was coming after work, we met her near the South Kensington tube station – at the very dog-friendly Ampersand Hotel!IMG_3093 We went to the Drawing Room where we waited for Emma to arrive.IMG_3083Mummy loved the unusual chairsIMG_3065While George thought he had finally got on top of a squirrel!
IMG_3088He was also very curious about all the sounds and smells.IMG_3074Emma, why are you pulling my ears?
IMG_3076 But charmer GeorgeIMG_3078He gets to go on your lap?IMG_3069 Oh well, the floor is probably cooler in this hot weather.IMG_3077 Eventually Georgie joined me on the cool, cool floorIMG_3081Check out the funny art pieces on the wall –IMG_3091A hippo in a tea cup – & an ostrich?IMG_3089P.S. Did you know that “&” (ampersand) is a visual representation of the phrase “and, per se and” but today, it simply means “and.”

May’s comment:

A modern, boutique hotel in South Kensington, The Ampersand Hotel is also dog-friendly!IMG_3100In addition to being able to enjoy afternoon teas in the charmingly designed Drawing Rooms, or a meal at Apero, they have a new dog walking service where they will enjoy a walk in nearby Hyde Park.

Located at 10 Harrington Rd, London SW7 3ER
