Mummy was so, so happy to see you both again.
She loved the welcoming card you gave her along with all those treats in her room.
She had so many lovely moments with you during her short stay.
Quincy was a little unsure at first – and he still is a little nervous at times – who is this stranger in their home?
But Mimi, she was a bundle of cuddles and loved giving kisses.
She loved watching you guys take in the sun and the view on the balconies – looking out at beautiful Florida views.
And she loved watching how the two of you run around in the apartment.
Playing with your toys.
And doing tricks for treats!
Running to your mummy for hugs.
Mummy told me if she could, she would take you both in her bag and smuggle you back home. Wouldn’t that be fun? We will be four dogs then!!!
Hey guys, you’re sitting right next to Mummy’s luggage – be careful. But Sylvia was keeping a watchful eye on all ongoings. 🙂
I wonder if I will ever get to meet you someday. At least Impostor did.
Till then, I just want to say thank you on behalf of George and myself – for giving Mummy so many cuddles and ever sooooooo many kisses while she was with you.
So goodnight, sweet Quincy!
Big yawn from a little guy.
Goodnight, Mimi! I know you won’t bark at me. But we’ll have to work on Quincy. He barked at Impostor but you didn’t! Bravo!
May’s comment: One of the highlights of my trip is spending time with these two fur balls – and of course Sylvia and Jack!
I first met the two Malteses early in the year before I got Darcy. I was telling Sylvia I was thinking of getting a dog – and they both were a little worried for me. I would be sitting on the sofa and looked on in bewilderment how those furry balls were the centre of their home life.
Sylvia gave me a book to look at and to ponder over what dog I was going to get – “10o1 Images of Dogs” . There wasn’t a cockapoo in there if I remember correctly.
But all that is passed now and whenever I travel to the US, I now have a lot of stops to make – New York to see (Zeus, Bennie and probably a few others), Chicago to see Wilson and Lily, Miami to see these two – Quincy and Mimi and then of course in DC to see Bella – that’s where I’m heading off to next. There are more dogs I know of in California so will have to add that on the itinerary the next time.
Till then I am heartbroken leaving behind these two little fur balls.
