Today we went to Hound Around, the first of many The Happiness of Hounds events. It was at Spitalfields which is a long way for us to get there.
When we arrived, I was quickly greeted by other mutts – but they were all quite friendly. If it was me, I would have barked at the newcomer but they didn’t. They did sort of put me in my place though.

Anyway, we were allowed to roam and check out the place. I checked out the food at the cafe and was told to get off!
I tried agility because lots of treats!!!
And then we met Stacey Chapman – one of the exhibitors at Hound Around. Mummy was mesmerised by her work! So I had to check them out too!
Apparently she freehand machine embroiders animal portraits!!!! They all look amazing!!! So of course, Mummy is having one done of me – just adding my portraits to her collection.
May’s comment: We were there a bit early and not many have turned up which worked to our advantage – we were able to meet many of the crafts stalls there. We loved Stacey Chapman’s work. Unbelievable talent! All hand freehand machine embroidered – so it has an almost 3-D effect.
