It’s Monday and Mummy’s being philosophical while she sits at her desk as she is still not able to go out for long walks with me, not being able to travel, not being able to do what she normally does – out the door running! 🙁
During her time out for her op and recuperation, she’s had time to evaluate the chapters of her life.
She realises that there’s a lot to do and it’s time to turn the chapter. To do the next thing or things on her list.
I don’t really know what it means but I am glad she knows there’s something out there she wants to pursue. 🙂
May’s comment: A lovely reminder to realise that life is not made up of one chapter. We’ve had tremendous fun writing Darcy’s blog – it’s an umbrella for all things Darcy in my life. She’s given me something to focus on while I am sorting out what this phase of my life is all about. It has importantly given me a way to do my writing exercise. We’ve been truly surprised at how well it has done, not just from the point of numbers but how it has touched people – based on responses. It was unexpected. As someone said – let it be a reminder that when you put your mind to something, you can make a success of it.
The blog chapter is a good one and as it continues to be the fabric of our lives, other things must compliment it or expand from it. But unless this chapter is turned, I have no idea what comes after.
So let’s begin by looking up from the computer, stop looking at the numbers, get up from the desk and seek things out. I don’t have to run yet, but I can walk. x
