Remember Harvey? He caused quite a stir when he got lost and then tremendous heartache when we found out that his body was picked up but unreported.

Well, Harvey’s Army worked hard to right the WRONG!  You know the rest of the success story.

With 123,000 people who signed the last petition that all dead pets found on highways must be reported, the Highways Agency agreed to put that WRONG, RIGHT.

BUT, the job is only half done.

Every year 1000’s of Dogs and Cats are killed on your local council roads. Most are never scanned for a micro-chip and in many areas “somebodies” Cat or Dog, a family member, is simply, thrown in a skip. No one is notified as no checks are done. This leaves the owners never knowing what happened to their beloved pet, they spend months, years, worrying what happened to them.

What Harvey’s Army is asking for is a simple procedure and one which is the minimum amount of care any Pet owner should expect.

Can you really stand the thought that YOUR family member will end their life in a “skip”, being sent to land fill or a rendering plant?  If not then please help us finish the job!! Add your name to the other 123,000 that signed the last petition and be a part of protecting both yours and your pets rights on the roads.

PLEASE SIGN the petition – UK residents only.  https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/104534
