Heartfelt howls

This is Stanley the Airedale, who was speaking to his Mummy over the phone.

It made Mummy laugh – yeah, it’s funny but also heartbreaking to hear him howling.

And then Mummy asked me why I wouldn’t howl and say how much I loved her like that when we’re Skyping.

Oh Mummy, I thought you want me to have fun when you leave me behind. And I do have the best time when I am at the House of Mutt. So no howling from me – sorry!

  1. This made me smile, Darcy. We looked after a friend’s border terrier the other day. He was on the back seat with Charlie in the car, on ourcway back from a walk. He suddenly started howling and crying. Mummy thought he must have hurt himself and was just looking for a place to park when she realised thstvThecArchers

  2. Whooop . Pressed wrong thing! The Archer’s theme tune was playing on the radio. Fortunately we remembered his Mummy telling us that he always sang to it. Well not exactly tuneful, Percy but we were relieved you were OK. Love, Charlie
