From Aberdeen to Braemar and on to Inverness, our Highland journey has been filled with breathtaking landscapes, fascinating history, unforgettable hotels, and moments that will stay with us long after the miles have passed.
From the stunning scenery of Ballater and Braemar, spotting Highland cows along the way, and taking in the beauty of Loch Ness, to crossing the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, forever known to many as the “Harry Potter” viaduct, every mile has revealed another side of the Scottish Highlands.

Enjoying the best lobster tagliarini at The Fish Shop, exploring Balmoral Castle, experiencing the magic of The Fife Arms, and revisiting cherished memories at Culloden House, each stop has added another chapter to our Kitchen Chat® journey.

Most of all, it has been about twirling, laughter, friendship, and sharing these experiences with Margaret as we continue our travels through luxury, history, hospitality, and the stories that connect them.
We may have left the Scottish Highlands… but we also left with a little more to our name. More on that very soon. 😉✨

Here’s a little more about Fife Arms Hotel …
