As the calendar turns …

Voila! There’s Georgie! From the streets of Hungary to a calendar boy!

Featured as the January dog forIMG_7719… the Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue 2016 calendar! IMG_7720We are thrilled to learn that we might meet another “Hungarian refugee” soon.  Our friend Cody told us that he now has a new “sibling” called Jeb.

Jeb came to the UK via Hungary Hearts Dog rescue like George.12421679_10154413825368502_1810155010_n They think he’s a Hungarian Puli cross12434238_10154413825413502_1256574947_n But since he had a haircut, he looks rather like Cody!12421594_10154413844858502_1234949589_nLike me, Cody was a bit wary of Jeb suddenly turning up in his life but things seem to have settled down.12431603_10154413843613502_1985947993_n And George especially can’t wait to meet Jeb and have a few words in Hungarian and exchange stories about their lives back there.12434221_10154413844313502_62437740_nMay’s comment: Just thankful for little George in our lives and for Jeb to have his first Christmas in a place where he is safe and loved. And to all the others who have been saved and now home forever.

Thank you Hungary Hearts Dog Rescue for doing your part in saving lives.  Dogs know no boundaries and it doesn’t matter where they’re from – they’re just innocent lives that needed a second chance.

And we hope more and more people will enjoy the blessing that a rescue dog can bring. George is gorgeous because of who he is. And lovely to think that his photo will be in many people’s homes this January – because he is alive and well in the UK after he came so close to be killed – just because he was a stray. Today he win hearts – definitely mine. And even Darcy’s. 🙂

  1. George looks so cute as January’s Pin-Up Pup! It was also great to hear Jeb’s story. Happy New Year to Jeb and his new family! I’m sitting here watching the last episode (DVD) of Doc Martin getting ready for the new series, not sure when it is going to air in the USA. Jill
