It’s officially Spring!

The spring or vernal equinox marks the astronomical first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.  This year it is the 20th March.

Spring brings hope, it is renewal. And this is our SPRING notecard of our “Walking through the Seasons” series …

The flowers are blooming – there are yellow daffodils in the parks and some of the cherry blossoms have already budded but not the wisteria. And all through the next few months, we will take delight in seeing all the flowers in bloom.

All this till the 21st June when Summer begins!

We’re excited about Summer because by then we should be allowed to go on staycations again. We can’t wait!!!

And as we walk into Autumn – we are even more excited! We have amazing news for the Autumn – but more of that later! Not that we are wishing the year away but we just can’t wait till the end of Summer.

We do love the change in seasons.

May’s comment: “Walking through the Seasons” was one of our Lockdown projects. It began last Summer when I needed a notecard. When Alice of @dogsdogscatsdogs created Summer, it made me think I couldn’t use that during the colder months. So we began the seasons.

It was so much fun picking out the wardrobe for each season. And even more fun finding “scenes” from our neighbourhood – where we walk past most days.

It was a fun project and Winter was also turned into our Christmas card!

Now what are we going to do for Christmas 2021? Or maybe we should do Walking through the months. One per month!!! LOL!
