Ouch! Just kidding.

It’s time for my annual check up and various vaccines.  Also had my rabies shot so I can maintain my passport.

I’ve been going to Kynance Vet since I was 11 weeks old.  I don’t mind coming here. In fact, I can’t wait to get on the metal table top – jab me, pinch me – whatever – I know that at the end I always get treats!

I also have viral papilloma – a little wart inside my right lower lip. It seems to be dissolving itself. Apparently we young dogs (under two) are quite prone to them because our immune system isn’t so strong.

May’s comment:  Darcy is a very good patient – she stays very still when the jabs are administered and always happy to be there.

Kynance Vet has been our saviour especially during the first year when we visited every other month when Darcy was picking up all sorts of bugs on her walks or eating wrong foods. But it has never been a traumatic experience. So much so that whenever we walk past Kynance Mews when we go for our walks, Darcy would want to go in to say hello – actually for treats!  The vets and nurses are all terrific – calm, gentle, reassuring and always gets it right!

  1. Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your weblog. You have some really good posts and I believe I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d really
like to write some material for your blog in exchange for a
link back to mine. Please shoot me an e-mail if interested.

    • Miss Darcy

First of all, thank you for reading. And thank you for your suggestion to write on behalf of Miss Darcy but this is a blog based on personal experiences so it would not be appropriate for someone else to write it except “Miss Darcy” herself.
      Best regards.

  2. Pretty! This has been a really wonderful post. Thanks for providing this
