Wishing you a day of LOVE.
We love this Tree of Love, Joy and Hope at the Connaught Village – and we made a special trip (with Andy, our black cab driver) just to see it – in the spirit of love.

It was in the evening so the lighting wasn’t very good but it was still lovely to look at.
Wishing all our readers a day of LOVE.
May’s comment: Valentine’s Day is a celebration of LOVE, not just romantic love. Especially this year, when there had been much sadness and fear, through it all was immense kindness and love.
In a year of staying home, I am grateful I had Darcy and George – my excuses for essential walkies and just being together had been an immense comfort. In that time, I became aware that our mutual dependence provided me with a sense of being a unit, and a sense of belonging.

For most of you who know our story, it was a journey. I got Darcy for all the wrong intentions but the Universe knew I needed her more than I thought I did. And for whatever reason I thought I had for getting a dog, in the end, it didn’t matter. Because love was revealed to me through Darcy … and then George.
Our lovely friend, Alice of @dogsdogscatsanddogs Procreated this drawing of Darcy with all the candied hearts. This is a video revealing how it was created – just like how the Universe revealed an unexpected love.
While Darcy gave me a chance to love wholly without reserve, George taught me that my heart is expandable. That there is always room for love and the best feeling in the world is being with someone who wants you as much as you want them.
And that was how we felt all through Lockdown – we needed each other and we were there for each other.
