We met with Tom at Lebowski to discuss our projects. It’s a pub and quite noisy.
Regardless we managed to get some work done. There were a couple of other dogs there. Here’s me getting involved.
After a long meeting, we went to Cottier for dinner. Cottier is a converted church and we dogs were only allowed in the bar area.
May’s comment: We found these two dog friendly places in Glasgow. But it wasn’t easy – we were turned away at three other places including a pub in an area outside of Glasgow Central. I am not crazy but whenever we are refused entry, Darcy seems to sense it and she was very confused as we went from place to place.

I think it is crazy that so many places have these restrictions re dogs. We have been in places where noisy badly behaved children are allowed to run amok, but no dogs allowed in!,
I used to think it was statutory, but clearly if some restaurants and pubs allow them in (well behaved dogs) then it can’t be!
We had a dreadful time in Wales at Christmas as we searched for places that would take Sealea in. In the end we had a BBQ on Langland beach on Christmas Day!! Great. Sealea thought her luck was really in, with lots of naughty little titbits coming her way!

Yes, Wales was dreadful. In the end London has the most places I know I can go to. That said I think travelling in the summer might be easier because of outside spaces. I knew those two places took dogs but my friend was not so aware of such restrictions so we went form place to place – he assumed they would. The whole health and safety excuse – is purely and excuse. It is down to the owner of each place to decide what they do. When they say we serve food here – I want to ask them – what about all those restaurants who allow dogs in – are all their customers contaminated?!?!?!? And I who eat with Darcy sitting next to my table – I think I am still healthy! Such ridiculousness.
