Meeting two of our Canadian readers!

We have never met Joan and Ron before but when we saw them at the street corner near where we live, we knew there was something we like about them. So we ran happily to greet them. George ran headlong first and because Joan had read all about him doing a runner recently, she grabbed a hold of his lead.  See George, hoomans all over the world know about your antics.

IMG_4305I think they’re also missing their two – Emmy and Oscar!14012026_10210036405089863_842031859_n They’re back in Canada waiting for their mummy and daddy to get home.13987131_10210036405249867_1694808961_oAnd guess what they brought us all the way from Canada? Something to wear for Canada Day!IMG_4306May’s comment: Sometimes social media seem to have replaced our need to connect in person. But Facebook, as I have experienced myself does bring people together.  Reconnecting people we have lost touch with or bringing together those who have things in common.

In the end it is our dogs that connected us!

Joan reads our blog postings via I Love My Cockapoo and she reached out to us when she knew they were coming through London.  We are so pleased that she and Ron have taken time out to meet – and now we have met another of our blog readers because we both share a love for our doggies.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays, and hope to see you again soon.
