A couple of weeks ago, we went all the way to Shoreditch to a 3D printing shop. We didn’t quite understand what that meant.
There wasn’t much to look at in the studio – just some mini figurines of people and a dog.
But when we went downstairs to the basement we saw this rather odd set-up.
Mummy asked me to go and stand on the mat in middle of all these cameras.
I was sitting down but Mummy asked me to stand up and to STAY! We had to stand very still – for 3 seconds!
George wasn’t so sure about all of that even though he did stand very still for 3 seconds but his tail was down.
Last Friday, Mummy and I went all the way back to Shoreditch to pick up the final product!

May’s comment: Working on a little art project – needed to get figurines of us done. The idea of 3D printing still blows my mind!
It even managed to capture their fluffiness and their expression perfectly. No need for sculptures!
This “bronze” version was purposefully done as an abstract piece. I didn’t want a mini-me – just an indication of us three. 
Really pleased with results.

Getting Little Tykes done this summer so they can all be together.
That is amazing! I’m not sure what part I’m more impressed with, the pups standing still for 3 seconds, the actual 3D printer statues, the 3D photo rotater thing, or the bronze statue.
Lol! I was equally impressed too! I couldn’t stop smiling at the end products.
Wow this is so great! I would love to have figurines of my doggies who crossed over the rainbow bridge. Love the 3D photos too. It’s all like magic to me.
