Upon her arrival at Taipei International Airport, Mummy had the best encounter.
While she and her friends were waiting for their luggage, along came Minnie – the sniffer dog!
She got to work immediately – sniffing every piece of luggage at baggage claim. Happily wagging her tail because she knows that if she was successful, she would get a treat.
She sniffed at these luggage but then she stopped and stood on her hind legs, looking up at a man with a backpack. Her trainer asked the man if he had any fresh fruits in his backpack as plant and animal products are restricted from being brought into the country.
He opened his bag for inspection …
Voila! Out came some bananas! And Minnie – all she was interested in was her treat in return for her successful detection.
Mummy was so amazed – and asked if she could pose with Impostor!
Well, that got a few laughs from some people standing nearby! And one guy came to ask if he could take a picture with Impostor and Minnie! LOL!
May’s comment: A group of us descended into Taipei, for Ellen’s 50th birthday. They live in Dubai and return to London often – each time we meet up at Hyde Park because Kai loves Darcy and George!
